Police in Oklahoma City say that just after 7 p.m. on Thursday, a suspected drunk driver crashed into three cars in northeast Oklahoma City and set them on fire.
The accident took place near Summit Ridge Drive and Broadway Extension.
What the police said was that the driver crashed into a garage with three parked cars, setting the cars on fire.
Someone said they saw a baby in one of the cars, but it was quickly retrieved without any harm.
Ben Strunk, a neighbor who saw what happened after the crash, said, “I’m just glad that my neighbors acted quickly.” Even though there was a fire going on, they ran to the house and knocked on the door to try to get people out and make sure everyone was safe.
People who live nearby said they heard a loud crash and then saw tall flames coming from near the house.
Strunk also said that firefighters got there in five minutes. Police say the suspect is now in arrest and no one was hurt.
