A house fire was reported in Orange County on Tuesday, and one person was taken to the hospital.
They found flames coming from both the house and the garden when they got to the house on Fitzhugh Road in the Winter Park Pines neighborhood.
Orange County firemen searched the house and found one victim. They took the person to the hospital under a trauma code.
They have not said what started the fire, but people who live nearby say they heard a blast.
David Price, a neighbor, said, “I asked the neighbor whose two kids were out there, and she said they were giving them a bath when they heard an explosion.”
The second victim had been breathing in smoke. The reason for the fire is being looked into.
