A heart for service is held by Vexus’ Stewart

If you were to spend a day at Vexus® Boats in Flippin, Arkansas, and you were to observe Jason Stewart in a variety of activities, such as observing him manage logoed apparel inventory in the company lobby and test-driving a boat on Bull Shoals, you might find yourself a little perplexed as to what exactly the job of the former Air Force veteran actually entails.

Given that he is the author of four fiction novels of his own, including White River, which is set in the Ozark Mountains, which he now calls home, Stewart has been serving as the Swiss Army knife of the relatively new boat brand for the past six years.

He has been the jack-of-all-trades, who has had a heavy hand in managing everything from Vexus’ social media posts to proofreading catalog and website copy. This is a task that he is quite capable of performing.

When we talk about mountains, we should mention that Stewart spent his childhood fishing in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina.

Prior to purchasing his first truck, he made a purchase of a used bass boat and then spent a significant amount of time fishing for smallmouth bass on Fontana Lake.

He enlisted in the military immediately after graduating from high school, largely because his grandpa had served in the Navy during World War II.

“My grandfather had a profound passion for his country and for helping other people, and his influence was a significant factor in my decision to serve in the military that I am currently serving in.

“For twenty years, it was a privilege to serve alongside so many admirable citizens of the United States,” he reflects.

He served the United States of America at a number of facilities outside of the country, including in Honduras and South Korea. As a mission weather forecaster, he worked at the Air Operations Center at Osan Air Base throughout his twenty years of devotion to our country.

His time spent in South Korea laid the groundwork for the most enjoyable job he received during his twenty years of duty to our country.

However, it was during his time at Little Rock Air Force Base that he met the woman who would become the love of his life. Janice, who is now his wife of 27 years, would become his greatest love.

“Life in the military can be challenging for spouses and children. I am really proud of my wife and kid for being able to endure all of the relocations that took place all around the world and the time that we were separated.

“Without their support and understanding, there is no way that I could have had a successful military career,” says Stewart, who expresses his satisfaction with the situation.

The couple’s desire to live somewhere rural with plenty of options for bass fishing brought them to Flippin, Arkansas, which is located close to Bull Shoals Lake.

Janice’s family had links to Arkansas, and the pair wanted to reside somewhere that offered plenty of bass fishing opportunities. And a great number of people at Vexus are unquestionably happy that they made the decision to do so.

The organization we work for is not only gifted with expertise, but also with talent. It is a terrific example to look at Jason since he is able to wear several hats, execute brilliantly, and accomplish all of this while maintaining a personality that is very fun to be around.

I have a strong suspicion that it is the result of his unwavering commitment to serving our country, in addition to the fact that he was raised in a Christian family.

“What I am certain of is that we are fortunate to have him,” says Keith Daffron, the leader of the Vexus organization.

At Vexus, job titles are not very important; however, it is quite important to complete the task in the appropriate manner.

Because of this, the culture of premium boat builders is a wonderful match for Jason Stewart’s heart for duty, whether it is serving his country for twenty years or test-driving a treasured customer’s boat to ensure that it performs at its best.

To tell you the truth, he is the kind of person that everyone at Vexus is thankful to have in their team.
