There was a man who was tased by Dallas police officers in the center of Dallas Love Field Airport after airport officials stated that he was not allowed to board the aircraft.
At approximately 6:25 p.m., the incident took place in the atrium of Dallas Love Field, in front of the Whataburger restaurant, which is located close to Gate 12. The incident was captured on video shot on a mobile phone.
The man can be seen in the video yelling at three local law enforcement officers, “Do not get anywhere (expletive) near me.” A Taser is pulled out by one of the three officers, and the man answers by saying, “Yeah, pull that Taser you (expletive) (expletive).”
It is seen on video that the officers attempt to place the man’s hands behind his back; however, the man wrenches them away and falls to the ground.
After that, the officer from the Denver Police Department aims the Taser toward the man’s back and fires it. He is then placed in handcuffs by the officers, and the film comes to a close.
After being denied boarding, the man was causing a disturbance at the airport, according to a statement released by the Dallas Police Department to WFAA.
The statement stated that the individual was generating the disruption. According to the Denver Police Department, he was taken into custody and will be charged with public intoxication.
