In the second quarter, the Solar Bears responded, bringing the score to 1-1 and tied the game. Savannah, on the other hand, reacted in like by allowing Drevitch to get back on the scoresheet.
This time, he was able to find the back of the net with a shot that was a result of a pass from Liam Walsh. Savannah received assistance from the two players who had previously played for Merrimack College.
Prior to the conclusion of the second period, the Solar Bears equalized the score of the game at two.
The Ghost Pirates were able to put the game out of reach thanks to Riley Hughes, who scored his eighth goal of the season in the third period. This goal also turned out to be his first game-winning goal of the year.
