Two more North Texas stores are being broken ground on by H-E-B

On Thursday, H-E-B began construction on two additional grocery shops in the North Texas region.

A grocery store chain located in South Texas is currently in the process of constructing new locations in Murphy and in the Mid-Cities region of northeast Tarrant County. This chain has experienced fast expansion into North Texas over the past three years.

The intersection of Farm Road 544 and McCreary Road will be the location of the Murphy store. The location of the Mid-Cities location will be situated on the northwest corner of Cheek-Sparger Road and Rio Grande Boulevard, which is a shared territory between the cities of Euless and Bedford neighborhoods.

Both of the new locations will be full-service H-E-B stores, complete with an H-E-B Pharmacy and a True Texas BBQ restaurant.

Additionally, they will be equipped with a petrol station and a vehicle wash, and the stores will be constructed “to reflect the character that is unique to each community,” according to a news statement issued by the firm.

It is anticipated that the stores will open in the year 2026.

North Texas is home to a number of H-E-B stores, including those located in Plano, Allen, McKinney, Mansfield, Fort Worth, Frisco, and Prosper, among others. In addition, development is now taking place at locations in Rockwall and Irving.

H-E-B has been present in the surrounding districts of North Texas for many years, including Burleson, Hudson Oaks, and Waxahachie, among other places besides.

It was not until 2021 that the grocery store chain made the decision to expand into the more populous regions of North Texas, and they did so by opening multiple locations in Collin County.

In addition, H-E-B has a Joe V’s Smart Shop location in Dallas, and the company is now planning to open another one. Central Market stores are also owned by the corporation and may be found all across North Texas.

North Texas is home to a number of other big grocery stores, including Walmart, Kroger, Tom Thumb, and Albertson’s.

This past week, Tom Thumb began construction on three new stores in the North Texas area. These new locations are located in Midlothian, Sanger, and Sunnyvale.
