Two men accused of a nationwide armed robbery and kidnapping spree were arrested by Orlando police

Two males were taken into custody by the Orlando Police Department; they are suspected of being involved in a statewide crime spree that included kidnapping and armed robbery at a massage business located in the Milk District.

The appearance of Julian Ray Garcia and Julian Ray Galindo in front of a court took place on Wednesday.

On October 30, the Orlando Police Department responded to a robbery that occurred at a massage business located on Bumby Avenue, as stated in the court filings.

According to the authorities, the two individuals faked being law enforcement officers and then looted the place.

One of the witnesses, who talked with WESH 2 but did not wish to be recognized on camera, stated that she was terrified and described the experience as a nightmare.

Fingerprints were discovered on cameras that the suspects had deactivated outside the parlor. These fingerprints matched prints that were discovered within the establishment, and the detectives were able to trace them back to Galindo and Garcia.

In the day leading up to the event on Bumby Avenue, the males were accused of committing a crime that was quite similar to the one that occurred at Golden Gate Massage.

According to the documents, the two men “identified themselves as law enforcement officers and entered the massage parlor.”

Continued with the documents are: “The victims were coerced into going upstairs. A dinner knife typical of a kitchen was wielded by one of the suspects. When the victims arrived upstairs, they were given the instruction to sit on a couch.

After that, one of the suspects went downstairs and discovered roughly four thousand dollars in cash.

“The victims were then moved to an adjacent room and ordered to remove their clothing, after which they were instructed to remain in the room,” according to the official documentation.

Authorities stated that this was not the first time that they had committed crimes of this nature.

In the document, it is stated that “Further investigation uncovered a nationwide robbery series.” Over the course of the past few years, suspects, including the target, have committed robberies at massage parlors in the states of Texas, California, Missouri, and now Florida.

Kidnapping, impersonating a law enforcement officer, and armed robbery are being charged against both of the individuals.

They have not been released on bond and are currently being held at the Orange County Jail.
