The spirits of a sick 2-year-old police fan in Orange County were lifted by an FHP Trooper

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper Pete Hooker recently paid a surprise visit to make two-year-old Dominick’s day better. Dominick is a big fan of police officers and had been feeling sick.

Trooper Hooker from Troop K chose to stop by for a quick visit after hearing from Dominick’s mom that he was home sick. He brought him a fun surprise to cheer him up.

Dominick really admires police officers, so he was dressed for the event and had his own little police car parked next to him.

Trooper Hooker gave Dominick an FHP coloring book, which made the young fan very happy. The FHP told Dominick how much they appreciated Trooper Hooker’s kind act and thanked him for his support of law enforcement.

These actions show that the FHP is committed to both protecting the community and making a good difference in the lives of its youngest members.
