The Final Hours Before Election 2016

In a few short hours Americans will go to the polls to vote.  An overwhelming number of those voters will be interested in one race; the President of the United States.  Although there is always a wide selections of candidates, most people agree that the contest will come down to a choice between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.  For some people it will be as simple as deciding between Democrat and Republican, and others will decide on various factors.  By the end of the night, if all goes well, the United States will have a new President-Elect. Miller County Arkansas 2016 Election Schedule

Miller County, AR- The Miller County Election Commission would like to remind the citizens of Miller County that the deadline for voter registration in Miller County is October 11, 2016. Voters must be registered by that date to be eligible to vote in the General Election, which is on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. The Commission anticipates high voter turnout and is recommending a few tips in order to reduce wait time for voting on both Election Day and during the early vote period. If you have not registered or if you have not received your voter registration card following registration at an off-site location (location other than the Courthouse), please go to the Miller County Courthouse, 400 Laurel Street; County Clerk’s office, Room 105, phone 870-774- 1501.  Janet Satterfield is the voter registration clerk, and she will be happy to register you to vote, to answer any questions regarding your voter registration status, or to help you vote by absentee ballot.
