In the River Bell Classic, which took place on Thursday night, the Southeastern Louisiana football team defeated Nicholls by a score of 19-16 by kicking a field goal from forty yards out as time expired.

A total of four field goals were made by Riley Callaghan for the Lions on Thursday night, with the final one allowing Southeastern to earn its seventh victory of the calendar year.
