The Department of Revenue of the State of Alaska has recently distributed a new allowance payment. There will be a new check available for qualified recipients to collect on November 27 as a result of the Permanent Fund Dividend.
Due to the fact that a recipient who is eligible and meets the requirements can get $1,702, this check is actually worth a significant amount of money.
DOR in Alaska has confirmed that the new payment will be $1,702, which is an increase from the previous payment of $1,312 for the 2023 payment this year.
New Allowance from the PFD in Alaska payment schedule
It is quite unlikely that the 21st of November will be the final day that those who are qualified to get this new stipend in 2024 would be able to do so.
In point of fact, it is possible that your payday will not be on November 21st, but rather on December 19th, 2024.
Please verify the status on December 11, 2024, in order to determine whether or not you will be able to get your money from this new allowance in the month of December.
If it says “Eligible-Not Paid,” then your payment will be sent on December 19 for those who are eligible.
It is anticipated that the final salary for this new allowance will be on December 19th, 2024. Having said that, there will be an additional check on January 16th. On January 8, 2024, you will be able to check the status of your application to see whether or not you are eligible.
Applications for this new allowance in 2025
It is not possible to submit an application in the year 2024. Keep in mind that the deadline for submitting an application for it was the 31st of March in the year 2024.
In spite of this, you will not have to wait very long for a new allowance to be implemented in the year 2025 after all.
During the period beginning January 1, 2025 and ending March 31, 2025, the application window for this PFD allowance for 2025 will be open. If you want to be eligible for a Permanent Fund Dividend in 2025, you need to:
