On Friday, the Bobcats defeated Grand Blanc in the district final, bringing an end to the Wildcats’ season with a score of 29-7. This was not to be the case, as the Bobcats defeated Grand Blanc.
In the Oakland Activities Association Red division, Oxford finishes the season with a record of 7-4 and a record of 3-1. Lake Orion, Rochester Adams, and West Bloomfield were the three teams that the Wildcats defeated during the regular season to earn the title of OAA Red champions that they won.
In the third game of the season, they suffered their sole defeat in the league, which was to Clarkston by a score of 23-15.
Jack Hendrix, the quarterback for Oxford, completed a first-quarter touchdown throw to Preston Wilder that covered 19 yards. This was Oxford’s only touchdown of the first quarter. As a result of Grand Blanc’s ability to field goals, Oxford took an early 7-6 lead in the game.
After then, however, everything went from bad to worse for the Bobcats. The defense of the Bobcats prevented Oxford senior running back Luke Johnson from making any big gains on the ground, and Hendrix was unable to connect with his targets in the end zone.

Jake Morrow, the quarterback for Grand Blanc, finished the game with two touchdowns, one of which was for rushing and one for passing. Additionally, wide receiver Matthews Evans concluded the game with six receptions and a touchdown, contributing to the victory for the Bobcats.
Senior running back Nik Lemons scored the first touchdown of the evening by rushing the ball.
Rochester Adams is the team that Grand Blanc will face in the first round of the regional competition.
Clarkston was defeated by Adams by a score of 41-0 in the championship game of District No. 4 on Friday.
