The BBQ restaurant Brothers Meethouse just opened at Southeast Fifth and Southeast E streets in Bentonville. It is owned by the Bentonville-based food and drink company Good Gravy Group.
In a newly renovated room at 405 S.E. Fifth St., the restaurant serves barbecue cooked over wood or charcoal, smoked bread, beer, and live music. The company wouldn’t say how much it would cost to start the business.
Head of Good Gravy Group AJ Baird said, “We’re not trying to be fancy.” “Get some sauce on your shirt, this is the coolest beer in town kind of place.
” Brothers has 6,000 square feet and the perfect layout for audiences, so we can show local and regional acts in a cozy space with great food. It’s a dream for people who love being with other people, blues music, and delicious barbecue.
April Seggebruch, general partner of Good Gravy Group, talked about how important it is for the restaurant to serve good food.
Seggebruch said, “We want to help define AR barbecue, or OZQ as we call it.” “Northwest Arkansas has a lot of great barbecue ideas. Together, we can change how the world thinks about our food scene between Memphis, Texas, and [Kansas City].”
More than 40 people will work at Brothers Meethouse. The pitmaster is Alex Glass, who was born in Alabama and raised in Arkansas. The glass said it would be consistent and have a lot of smoke.
Seggebruch said, “We love a cloth napkin dinner as much as anyone else, but this place is different.” “It has soul.” It’s about the natural urge we all have to play fire, smoke, and rhythm guitars. Everyone who comes in will leave as a friend if we do our jobs.
