good news For people who love Asian food, H Mart is opening its first store in Florida. The company says it is the biggest Asian supermarket chain and the first to serve Asian food in the United States. A store for H Mart is “coming soon” to Orlando, according to their website.
It says that the address is 7501 W. Colonial Dr. #107, Orlando, Florida 32818. We do not have any more information yet, like when the store will open or what its hours are.
For buyers in Orlando, the store is likely to have “a full line of Asian foods,” “Western groceries,” and “innovative new food halls,” just like the other dozens of stores across the country.
H Mart is happy to say that its food halls “are an extension of over 30 years of offering food in its stores.”
H Mart opened 14 new stores just between 2020 and 2023, so this new store might not be a surprise. The supermarket company was also named by the National Retail Federation as the 74th fastest-growing store on its Hot 100 Retailers 2020 List.
H Mart opened its first store in 1982 in Woodside, Queens. It now has more than 97 locations in the United States. Il Yeon Kwon, the company’s founder and CEO, said, “For more than 40 years, Hmart has done its best to serve communities with good Korean food and service.”
