The substantial storm damage that occurred at the Edmond location of Ted’s Cafe Escondido will cause it to remain shuttered until the beginning of 2025.
On November 3, the Mexican restaurant business based in Oklahoma City made the statement for the first time on the Facebook page of the Edmond location.
However, on Tuesday, the information on the closing of the location at 801 E. Danforth Road was communicated by email, along with revised timetables. Additionally, the company’s website said that the location was temporarily closed for business.
A statement was sent out via email by the restaurant stating that the closure will continue until the beginning of 2025. This was done to ensure that all essential upgrades could be completed and to protect both the employees and the customers.
According to David Foxx, Chief Operating Officer of Ted’s Cafe Escondido, “We are saddened to temporarily close our Danforth location; however, we are focused on making the necessary repairs to bring the restaurant back stronger and safer than it has ever been.”
“We look forward to welcoming our guests back in early 2025 with the same hospitality and exceptional food they’ve come to expect from Ted’s.”
During the time that the restaurant is closed, patrons can select the same menu at any of the five other locations in the metropolitan region, including the Ted’s restaurant that is located nearby at the intersection of NW 150th and N Pennsylvania Avenue.
