Initial reports from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office indicate that a woman in her forties was shot early on Friday morning.
A shooting was reported to have occurred in the vicinity of East Pierce Avenue and Dumont Street at approximately 12:50 a.m., according to a statement released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office when deputies got to the scene.
It is stated in the statement that the woman was found and sent to the hospital in critical condition. The statement also states that all of the individuals involved were located and that there was no danger to the community.
An inquiry is now being conducted.
