HealthCARE Express Youth Leadership Program Launching New Session

Join Klondike Leadership Academy at Their Launch Party June 15

HealthCARE Express

TEXARKANA, TX –HealthCARE Express is offering their free leadership program for children called Klondike Leadership Academy in our community. Klondike Leadership Academy (KLA) is focused on creating a legacy of leaders within our communities and within the world. This program is for children in kindergarten to fifth grade.

Klondike Leadership Academy is designed to create a spirit of leadership in today’s children. It focuses on core concepts of responsibility, accountability, and taking action in areas like the community, home life, or school. This program encourages children to tackle tasks without being prompted, to help where they can with what they can, and to be an active part of their communities. The program’s goal is to teach children what it means to be a leader, and how they can be one. To do so, there are seven Skill Sets for children to explore to learn just what it takes to be a great leader: Yes I Can, Work Comes Before Play, Listen Before You Speak, Together is Better, Help to Inspire Others, Commitment, and Leaders are Readers. By combining all the knowledge and skills they accumulate during their time as a KLA Kid, children will be set to step out into the world as a leader to inspire those around them to do the same.

Want to get your child involved in this program? The next KLA session starts June 15, 2018. HealthCARE Express is hosting the launch of this session at XLR8 on the Sportsplex campus at 5610 Richmond Rd at 6pm. Children will be creating dream boards and signing commitment sheets, setting them on track and already helping them earn points in the KLA system.
