Bowie County, TX– The Libertarian Party of Texas continues to post record growth across the state and Bowie County is the newest county to charter an official affiliate organization.
County Chair Steve Oglesby made the announcement by saying, “The role of government, at it’s core, is to protect the individual’s life, liberty, and property. It has become increasingly obvious that if we, the people, want our rights protected, we need to consider looking for answers outside the Democrat and Republican parties. Many of us believe the Libertarian Party of Texas offers the best solutions to current problems, and we look forward to spreading the word. Come join us!”
The Libertarian Party of Bowie County will hold its first official meeting at Smokey Joe’s in Nash at 6:30 on January 16, and on the third Tuesday of each month thereafter. All official meetings are open to the public.
