Maud Elementary Completes Canned Food Drive

Maud, TX– As elementary students prepare for the final countdown to Christmas, the Maud Elementary students can be proud to know that they have made someone’s Christmas a little brighter this year.  Roughly four days ago the school announced the completion of the STUCO Canned Food Drive on their twitter feed.  The small East Texas school managed to donate 1,157 cans of food this year in their drive.

The school reported that Mrs. Jones’ elementary class collected the most canned items with an impressive 340 cans.
