Maud JV Football, Thursday Sep 17

Maud TX Independent School DistrictFrom Maud ISD’s coach Michael Henderson:

Last night Maud’s JV Football team faced Queen City at home.  After a slow start and going in down 18-0 at half, they came out and put together a drive that ended with a long pass from Octavian Richardson to Cade Townsend for a TD to make the score 18-6.  The 2pt run was no good.  We later fell deeper in a hole after giving up two more scores making the score 32-6.

Maud could have bowed out at that point, but they kept fighting and scored again on a pass from Richardson to Townsend with about 52 seconds left in the game.  Again the 2pt run was no good.  Final score 32-12, Queen City.
